Cristian Gastón Fabbiani (born September 3, 1983 in Ciudad Evita ) is an Argentine football player with Italian roots. The striker has been playing in the Argentine Bolivian Primera C Metropolitana for Deportivo Merlo since 2016 .

Career

Fabbiani started his career at CA Lanús . In 2003 he was awarded to CD Palestino in the Chilean Primera División , where he scored 16 goals in 25 games. From 2004 to 2006 he played again with CA Lanús. In the summer of 2006 he was awarded to Beitar Jerusalem in the Israeli Ligat ha'Al . In January 2007 he returned to CA Lanús. In 2007 he moved to the Romanian league 1 to CFR Cluj for around 1.7 million euros . On August 1, 2007 he made his League 1 debut when he played in the 1-0 win against Oțelul Galați . In 2008 it was awarded to the Newell's Old Boys . In January 2009, he moved to CA River Plate for around 400,000 euros . On February 15, 2009 he made his debut for River Plate when he was substituted on in the 2-1 win against CA Rosario Central for Mauro Rosales in the 57th minute.
