Cristian Sârghi (born February 22, 1987 in Galați ) is a Romanian football player . The central defender has been under contract with Gaz Metan Mediaș since August 2017 .

Career

In January 2007, Sârghi came to Oțelul Galați . From the beginning he was a supplementary player and was used in about half of the games. With the championship in 2011 he won his first title. In the summer of 2014, after more than seven years, he left Oțelul and switched to Maccabi Netanja in Israel. He secured himself with the promoted team in the 2014/15 relegation round to remain in the class. He then left the club and returned to Romania, where he joined CS Concordia Chiajna . At the beginning of 2016, Sârghi hired Ermis Aradippou in the Cypriot First Division . In the season 2015/16 he reached relegation with his team. His contract was terminated in January 2017. At the end of March 2017, the relegation-threatened Romanian first division side Pandurii Târgu Jiu signed him . He was only used once in the 2016/17 relegation round . In the summer of 2017 he left the club to league rival Gaz Metan Mediaș .
