Cronis Karakassidis (born July 23, 1983 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German presenter , singer and actor of Greek origin.

Life

Cronis Karakassidis, whose real name is Polychronis Karakassidis, was born to Greek parents in Villingen-Schwenningen in Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany . There he grew up bilingual; In 1999 he obtained his Greek secondary school leaving certificate ; At the same time, he completed his Abitur in 2003 at the general high school at Deutenberg . Since 2006 he has worked as a TV presenter for Greece. In 2009 he completed his studies at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (RFH-Köln) with a degree in media economics with a focus on the management of media companies. His thesis dealt with the marketing of human brands.

In 2010 he took part in Greece as a singer and songwriter in the casting show show Greece Got Talent ; he presented two of his own singles. From February 2012 to August 2014 he worked as a presenter in Cologne for the Greek private broadcasters Makedonia TV, Antenna TV, Epsilon TV and Alpha TV. His programs ( infotainment / quiz ) were broadcast live from Cologne-Ossendorf via satellite to Greece almost every day . Because of its popularity in Greece it is known under the nickname "Cronis Mas" ("Our Cronis").

Since July 2014 (episode 4886) Karakassidis has played a continuous supporting role as Nikos Karadimas in the RTL television soap Unter uns . He plays a Greek baker in the Weigel pastry shop who is actively involved in animal welfare .

In addition to his work as a presenter and actor, Cronis Karakassidis also works a few days a week as a seller of shoes and handbags in Germany's only accessory store of the luxury label Guess in the Rhein-Center Cologne in the Cologne district of Weiden .

In March 2016 Karakassidis took part in the casting for the music show Deutschland sucht den Superstar ; he got the recall.

Karakassidis lives in Cologne.
