Curt Wolfgang Hergenröder

Curt Wolfgang Hergenröder (* 1955 in Vienna ) is a lawyer and professor at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Mainz .

Life

Hergenröder completed a law degree as well as the legal preparatory service in Konstanz and Paris . As an assistant to Hugo Seiter , he did his doctorate at the Free University of Berlin on the international private law problem of labor disputes . He then completed his habilitation with a thesis on the requirements and limits of judicial training from a procedural point of view with Dieter Heckelmann in Berlin . After teaching at the University of Greifswald and the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) , he followed the call to the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg .

After a visiting professorship at the University of Caen , he was appointed to the chair for civil law , labor law , commercial law and civil procedural law in the Faculty of Law and Economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . His main research interests are German, European and international labor and civil procedure law. Hergenröder is also the scientific director of the Rhineland-Palatinate debt counseling center .
