The 1993/94 season was the 49th season of the Danish 1st Division , which was held by the Danish Football Association Dansk Boldspil Union . It was the second highest division in Danish football after the Danish Superliga .
The league was held in three rounds. The first round took place in autumn 1993. In this, ten teams played against each other in a round trip.
The first six played in the spring of 1994 in the second round together with the last two from the first round of the 1993/94 Superliga to participate in the 1994/95 Superliga .
In the relegation round , the teams in places 7 and 9 of the autumn round played with the three best in the preliminary round of the 2nd division West and East against relegation. The teams in places 8 and 10 (Frem and B 1909) were relegated to the fourth division (Denmark series) after bankruptcy.
The first six of the autumn round played together with the last two (Næstved and Viborg) from the first round of the 1993/94 Superliga to participate in the 1994/95 Superliga .
The teams received between 3 (6th place) and 8 (1st place) bonus points from the first round, depending on their placement. The last two teams from the Danish Super League received 7 and 8 bonus points respectively.
The teams in places 7 and 9 of the autumn round 1993 played with the three best in the preliminary round of the 2nd division West and East against relegation.
