Désiré Keteleer (born June 13, 1920 in Anderlecht , † September 17, 1970 in Rebecq-Rognon ) was a Belgian cyclist . In the first decade after World War II, he was one of the most successful road cyclists and sometimes rode for up to four different teams per year. During his service in the Bianchi team , Keteleer was considered one of Fausto Coppi's key drivers and helpers . However, he also managed to celebrate numerous successes of his own. In 1947, for example, he secured victory in the overall standings of the Tour de Romandie premiere , was able to fight for stage victories in the Giro d'Italia , the Tour de France and the Tour de Suisse, and in 1950 he managed to win four days of the Tour of Germany .

In 1970, Keteleer died at the age of 50.
