Dörfles is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Ernstbrunn municipality in the Korneuburg district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 77 building areas in the cadastral community on a total of 42,243 m² and 79 gardens on 118,419 m², in 1989/1990 there were already 79 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 126 and in 2009/2010 there were 90 buildings on 206 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 91 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980, 0.2 hectares were cultivated with viticulture and 74 hectares were forest-managed forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 95 hectares and 74 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 85 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 74 hectares. Wine is no longer made. The average soil climate number of Dörfles is 44.1 (as of 2010).
