Naglern is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Ernstbrunn municipality in the Korneuburg district in Lower Austria .

The village is located south of Ernstbrunn on the local railway Korneuburg – Hohenau and is parish after Simonsfeld .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 87 building areas with 70,620 m² and 21 gardens on 29,740 m² in the cadastral community of Naglern , in 1989/1990 there were 85 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 105 and in 2009/2010 there were 96 buildings on 221 building areas. In the south there is a one-sided single cellar lane at one edge of the site (see cellar lanes in Ernstbrunn ). It is 120 meters long and consists of 14 buildings, the oldest dating back to 1931.

Art history

At the Angerbach in Naglern there is a statue of Johann Nepomuk from the 18th century (see Johannes Nepomuk representations in the Korneuburg district ).

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 375 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 24 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 380 hectares and 27 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 374 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 27 hectares. The average soil climate number for nailers is 61.6 (as of 2010).
