Dumber Museum is the name of a museum of natural and cultural history of the Dümmer in Lembruch in Lower Saxony Diepholz . The district of Diepholz is responsible for the museum. The museum opened in 1968.

The Dümmer Museum houses an exhibition with multimedia and interactive elements on two levels. It has a large aquarium with the local fish species. It also presents exhibits on the special flora and fauna as well as explanations of the origins of the Dümmer and the Dümmer region. In addition to the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions can also be visited regularly in the museum building. The main focus of the permanent exhibition is on the sections “From primeval and cultural landscapes”, “Natural diversity and nature conservation” and “Stone Age to touch”.

A “Life in Water Research Station” is integrated into the museum, in which interested parties can carry out investigations independently. In 2014 the German UNESCO Commission recognized the research station as a project of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. According to UNESCO, it teaches children and adults how to think and act sustainably.

The Dümmer Museum is one of the " extracurricular learning locations " recognized by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Culture in an education for sustainable development (ESD) in Lower Saxony.

In addition to the Dümmer Museum in Lembruch, the Dümmer Nature Conservation Station in Marl , the Dümmer Vogelschau in Dümmerlohausen and the Dümmer Niederung eV natural area with the Schäferhof an der Hunte belong to the "Dümmer-Kleeblatt". The work of the four institutions focuses on natural history, ornithology and the history of cultural agriculture.

In front of the Dümmer Museum, the sculpture trail “The Sight” ends , which begins at Diepholz Castle . A second sculpture path called “SEE SICHT” leads past it.
