The Düpenau is a brook in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein . It rises in Hamburg-Osdorf near the Düpenautal road, forms the border with Hamburg-Iserbrook for a few hundred meters, and in turn flows a few hundred meters underground to the north to mark the border between the districts of Osdorf and Iserbrook again.
Finally it flows through the Helmut-Schack-See, which is still in Osdorf, and then crosses the town of Schenefeld . In the further course to the north it crosses the Halstenbeck area to flow into the Mühlenau near Pinneberg, east of the district Thesdorf .
