Düsseldorf Literature Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Düsseldorf Literature Prize has been awarded by the Kunst- und Kulturstiftung der Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf since 2002 , which is why it is occasionally referred to as the literature prize of the Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf . It has been endowed with 20,000 euros since 2012 and "is aimed at authors whose German-language literary works refer to other arts or media in terms of form or content and, for example, make references to the performing and visual arts, music or film" (lt. Website of the Art and Culture Foundation of the Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf). Since 2014, the jury has consisted of literary critics Verena Auffermann , Ursula März , Hubert Winkels , the head of the NRW Literature Office Michael Serrer, the director of the Heinrich Heine Institute Sabine Brenner-Wilczek, the bookseller Rudolf Müller and the managing director of the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Rheinland .
