DC Super Hero Girls is a 2015 action figure series by DC Comics in cooperation with the American toy manufacturer Mattel , which is aimed at a younger female audience. In the same year a same name was Web - animated series started.

In April 2015, DC Comics announced that it would create a "new DC franchise aimed at 6 to 12 year old girls ".
