DJ Disco (* 1969 in Westphalia , actually Daniel Paul Beer ) is a German DJ , techno - producer , presenter and film producer from Berlin .

Life

He began his career as a DJ in 1989 in the Berlin clubs Fischlabor and 90 ° . He later became resident DJ at Planet and E-Werk . He also wrote as editor of the front page and was co-host of the show Brain-Candy by Ellen Allien on Kiss FM .

From 1997 to 1999 he moderated the program Berlin House and the live broadcasts of Mayday on the music channel VIVA . For the Love Parade he worked from June 1998 to June 2000 as press spokesman . On 31 May 1999 he led in this function in the show I put myself on TV Berlin a debate with, among others, the musician XOL DOG 400 , the Fuckparade tour operators Martin Kliehm and the former district mayor of Tiergarten Joern Jensen .

Daniel Bier works full-time as editor , producer and director at RBB . For the ORB he produced the 6-part documentary How we live about young people from Brandenburg .
