Dabula Anthony Mpako

Dabula Anthony Mpako (born September 6, 1959 in Bisho , South Africa ) is a South African clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Pretoria and Military Bishop of South Africa .

Life

Dabula Anthony Mpako received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Pretoria on June 28, 1986 .

On May 23, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Queenstown . The Archbishop of Pretoria, William Slattery OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on August 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Cape Town , Stephen Brislin , and the Bishop of Umtata , Sithembele Anton Sipuka .

Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Pretoria and Military Bishop of South Africa on April 30, 2019. The inauguration took place on June 22 of the same year.
