They built a manor house in 1726, which was rebuilt and expanded in the Tudor style in 1855 under Heinrich Graf von Bassewitz (1829–1912) . After the end of the Second World War , the owners were expropriated and an LPG was founded on the estate . After the fall of the Wall , the LPG closed. Heino Graf von Bassewitz leased the property in 1992 and converted it into a guest house with an attached farm with organic farming. The mayor, local residents and the state campaigned for the elementary school, which closed in 1998, to be reopened a year later. The kindergarten was privatized. At the instigation of those von Bassewitz, an assignment took place.
