Dame Diouf (born March 31, 1978 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player .

Career

Diouf grew up in the Senegalese capital Dakar. First he played for US Gorée (Senegal). In his youth he moved to Stade Rennes in France . About the FC 08 Homburg , the SV Wilhelmshaven and the amateurs of Werder Bremen he made the jump to Hannover 96 , where he and his team in 2002 promotion to the Bundesliga succeeded. The consequences of a stranglehold against the national player Sebastian Kehl in the game against Dortmund on October 5, 2002, which led to a four-week suspension, and a cruciate ligament rupture , which he sustained in January 2003 at the training camp, threw him back. In total, he only made 6 Bundesliga appearances. Diouf was loaned to the second division VfL Osnabrück , moved again to Hannover 96. Because he could not prevail there, Diouf moved to the regional division SV Wehen , then to the upper division VfB Hüls , SV Arminia Hanover and Holstein Kiel . In January 2008, Dame Diouf received a contract with SV Meppen , who played in the Oberliga Nord . Then he went to the second team of SSV Jahn Regensburg and FC Kempten , as well as FC Isny . From August to December 2012 Diouf played for the Kempten club SV Cambodunum , followed by half a year at FC Isny. In July 2013, he moved to the district league promoted DJK-SV Ost Memmingen , for whom he was used in the first and second combat team before he ended his career as an active player during the winter break.

His brother El Hadji Diouf was also a professional footballer and much more successful than his brother, who was almost three years older.
