  • Basic round: A simple round-trip round is played.
  • Play Off: Will be played as a return leg. In the event of a tie, the goal difference decides. If this is the same, there is a 5-minute extension ("Sudden Victory Overtime") in which the team may only use three field players and one goalkeeper. If no goal is scored, the series winner will be determined in a penalty shootout according to IIHF rules.
    • In the championship series, the best and second-placed teams from the regular season play.
    • Third and fourth placed teams from the regular season play in the series for bronze.
