The 2018/19 season of the Austrian women's ice hockey leagues represents the second-highest league competition in Austrian women's ice hockey. Teams from Hungary took part across all countries - they were also able to become DEBL champions . For the Austrian state championship, an additional ranking was made for the participating Austrian teams.

State Championship
The team from the Kitzbühel / Kufstein syndicate actually qualified for the state championship in women's ice hockey from DEBL. However, this waived at short notice, so that the DEC Devils Graz from the DEBL had to compete against the Neuberg Highlanders from the EWHL in the quarter-finals. The other Austrian EWHL teams EHV Sabers Vienna , DEC Salzburg Eagles and KEHV Lakers were seeded for the semifinals .

DEBL2 played in a basic round with subsequent play-offs. The basic round was played in the form of one and a half rounds back and forth. In the play-offs, the top and the second best-placed team in the "Series for Gold" played in the first and second leg, the teams in 3rd and 4th place for bronze.
