Damua is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh .

Damua is located in the district of Chhindwara 50 km west-northwest of the district capital Chhindwara . The city of Bhopal is located 160 km northwest of Damua. The city is located in the center of India at an altitude of 763  m . The upper reaches of the Kanhan flows through Damua. The city is located in a coal region .

The climate in Damua is moderate. Temperatures vary between 16.6 ° C and 31.3 ° C. The annual mean temperature is 23.6 ° C. The average annual amount of precipitation is 1404 mm (according to other information 1187 mm).
