Daniel Francis "Dan" Molls (* 12. February 1991 in North Royalton , Ohio ) is a former American American football - and Canadian football poker players. He played two seasons as linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Career

From 2009 to 2012 Molls attended the University of Toledo , where he played college football for the Toledo Rockets . In his first year he scored 43 tackles , followed by 143 tackles in 2010. He was named to the Third-Team All-MAC for his sophomore year performance . In 2011 he missed seven games due to an injury, but still managed to score 70 tackles. In his senior year he led the nation with 166 tackles, which earned him the election to the first-team All-MAC . He was also elected Academic All-American . After his career in Toledo ended, he played in the all-star game Texas vs The Nation . For the centenary of the Rockets in 2017, Molls was voted 48th in the All-Century Team.

On April 27, 2013, the San Diego Chargers signed Molls as an Undrafted Free Agent . He was released on August 30, 2013. On January 7, 2014, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Molls. He was released on August 20, 2014.

On October 13, 2014, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Molls for their practice roster . In March 2015 he received a new contract. On June 21, 2015, he went back to the practice roster. On September 1, 2015, he was promoted to the active squad. After the season he became a free agent .
