Artistic work

The core and characteristic of her work is a “visual linguistics”. She combines her own poetic texts and images to form a unit (see also visual poetry ). She uses classical and digital techniques, performance, sound and image installations. “The decisive factor is not the method itself, but the creative examination of the source material and its transformation.” (Dr. Donatella Chiancone-Schneider) In 2010, the overall concept Bibliotheca Diotima was created , which reflects her artistic and feminist position.

From a contemporary point of view, she reflects on the understanding of art e.g. B. in # 100Dada (video animation, 2016) and Ce este arta / Was ist Kunst (Textbild, 2011). She expresses the feminist attitude in an intellectual form and a. in Waiting Room: Loneliness (short film, 2017) or Der Faden der Ariadne (print installation, 2015). She experiments with the perception of real and fictional places and designs series such as Grădini abandonate (Abandoned Gardens) (photography, text, collage on handmade paper, 1999–2005). She poetically transcends the everyday in letters with dreams ( work in progress since 2000) and uses them to create artist books and editions that combine art and meditation.

She understands the effect of art in relation to the “opposite” and her work often takes the form of an intuitive dialogue on existential issues. She expands this dialogue from poetry to action and in 2016 designed the interactive-performative art platform Dialog in Agora . In this context, she coordinates intercultural projects on topics such as artistic creativity between the elite and the democratization of art, art in times of globalization, tradition and innovation in the artistic media. Extensive projects: 2016–2017 contemporary archeology and 2018–2020 cosmopolitan (ism) .
