Daniel Claudon (born August 30, 1943 in Cornimont ) is a former French biathlete .

Daniel Claudon started for the first time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at an international championship as part of the Biathlon World Championships in 1966 . With Louis Romand , Gilbert Mercier and Paul Romand , he finished seventh in the relay race. Two years later, the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble followed , where Claudon finished tenth as the starting runner with Serge Legrand , Aimé Gruet-Masson and Jean-Claude Viry in the relay race. At the Biathlon World Championships in Zakopane in 1969 , Claudon finished 41st in the individual. The Frenchman achieved his greatest success at the Biathlon World Championships in 1971 in Hämeenlinna , when he was fourth in the singles and missed a medal by just under half a minute against Magnar Solberg . He also achieved a good result as tenth place in the individual at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , with René Arpin , Noël Turrell and Aimé Gruet-Masson he missed another good place with the last 13th place in the relay race. In Lake Placid he started at the Biathlon World Championships in 1973 at his last international championship and ran to 15th place in the individual.
