Daniel Fellner

Daniel Fellner (born January 19, 1977 in Wolfsberg , Carinthia ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Since April 12, 2018 he has been a regional councilor in the Carinthian regional government of Kaiser II .

Life

Fellner graduated from the technical college for industrial engineering in Wolfsberg. He then worked first as an emergency paramedic and later as a control center manager at the Red Cross in Carinthia. He graduated from the SPÖ junior academy of the Renner Institute initiated by Peter Kaiser . From September 2011 he was regional manager of the SPÖ Carinthia. In addition, from the municipal council election in 2015 until his inauguration as regional councilor in April 2018, he was the first deputy mayor in St. Andrä im Lavanttal , city councilor for finances, economics, urban and community development and managing director of the infrastructure company St. Andrä Ges.mbH .

In the state government of Kaiser II he is responsible for the areas of municipalities, spatial planning, local and regional development, fire services, disaster control and water management. Andreas Sucher succeeded him as regional managing director . Since October 2018 he has been the SPÖ chairman in the Wolfsberg district .

Private

Fellner is married and has three children. He was a member of the a cappella band "voiceBerg".
