Beate Prettner

Beate Prettner (born April 16, 1965 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian gynecologist and politician ( SPÖ ). Prettner has been Provincial Councilor in Carinthia since 2010.

Life

From March 21, 2004 to April 12, 2010, Prettner represented the SPÖ in the Carinthian state parliament, where she was a member of the Committee on Family, Social Affairs, Health, Generations and Sport and the Incompatibility Committee . She describes social issues as well as family and health policy as her political priorities. Prettner is health, social, family and youth spokeswoman for the SPÖ state parliament club. In the state elections in 2009 , Prettner ran for second place in the Villach district and 13th place on the state list.

From 2010 to 2013, Beate Prettner was regional councilor for the environment, energy and women in the Dörfler II regional government .

Since March 28, 2013, she has been First Deputy Governor in the State Government of Kaiser I and Kaiser II and State Councilor for Health, Hospitals, Social Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

Prettner is the mother of three daughters. She lives in Maria Gail .
