Daniel Kallauch (* 1963 in Bremen ) is a German child musician, puppeteer and entertainer.

Life

Daniel Kallauch moved to Leoben in Austria at the age of 12 . At the age of 18 he made his first appearance as a songwriter. In 1983 he graduated from high school . From 1984 to 1989 he studied Protestant theology in Giessen . In 1987 he married Anke, with whom he had given songwriter concerts from 1985. 1989–1991 Daniel Kallauch worked in the child and youth work of the Evangelical Church in Itzehoe . During this time he wrote his first children's songs ( direct hit , God likes children , just great ). In 1991 he released his first children's music cassette. From 1991 to 1994 he worked in child and family work in the Anskar Church in Hamburg . In 1994 he went as a child artist independently and moved to the center of Germany after Leun in Wetzlar. Since his first trip to India in 1996, Kallauch has been committed to sponsorships to help unwanted girls in India . 1997 his first music clips are broadcast on television ( ZDF , Kinderkanal , Super RTL ). In 1999 his title One World became the UNICEF song for Berlin .

Daniel Kallauch came up with the idea for the screenplay for the TV feature film Christmas is Party for Jesus (2001). He wrote this together with Ulf Ramminger and played the leading role in it together with his joker Willibald. In 2003 a team from the production company Lifehouse Film wrote the follow-up, Easter is Party for Jesus, which was broadcast for the first time in 2003 on ZDF and KIKA. After that, these two films were repeated for many years on the children's channel. In 2004 Kallauch shot a documentary with a film team about his second trip to India.

In 2007 the Kallauch family moved to Hattingen in the Ruhr area. In 2016 Daniel Kallauch celebrated his 25th children's music stage anniversary. In 2009 the CD "You dear heaven" was released, which was also the basis of his Advent tours for 10 years. In the meantime, more than 30 music productions have appeared. In 2012 the artist wrote the Treasure Bible, a children's Bible with 24 stories from the Old and New Testament. There are also two CDs with songs for each story. In 2013 the Treasure Bible came out as an audio book, which Kallauch spoke himself.

In 2014, Kallauch ended the collaboration with cap-music and in 2015 founded their own music label Volltreffer . In 2015 the CD for the current tour “Ganz Schön stark” was released on this label. At the 36th German Rock & Pop Prize, the CD received the award "Best German Children's Song Album" (2nd place). "Ganz schön stark is about the topic of resilience . In the same year, the live recording of the previous tour" Always and everywhere direct hit "followed. In 2016, the family liturgy" When families pray ", a book that Kallauch developed and developed together with his wife Anke The enclosed CD contains the entire content of the liturgies.
