José Daniel Martínez Martínez (also Dan Martin ; born May 12, 1935 in Cartagena , † September 28, 2009 in Saragossa ) was a Spanish actor .

Life

Martín, who lived in Zaragoza since early childhood, began his film career in La spada del Cid in 1962 and quickly became a frequent performer in spaghetti westerns . In addition to his role as Julio in For a Handful of Dollars , he was repeatedly cast as an Indian, such as Uncas in both of the 1965 film adaptations of Cooper's novel. From the 1980s onwards he played some of his nearly 80 roles for television.

He was often referred to as Dan Martin .
