Daniel Nlandu Mayi (born October 19, 1953 in Kinshasa ) is Bishop of Matadi .

Life

The Archbishop of Kinshasa , Cardinal Joseph-Albert Malula , ordained him a priest on April 20, 1980 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Cataquas and auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa on October 29, 1999 . The Archbishop of Kinshasa, Frédéric Cardinal Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi CICM , donated him episcopal ordination on January 30 of the next year; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Francisco-Javier Lozano , Apostolic Nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo , and Eugène Moke Motsüri , Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus in Kinshasa.
