In January 2014, Stock achieved his first top 10 result in the Scandinavian Cup with ninth place over 15 km freestyle in Piteå and won the bronze medal in skiathlon at the subsequent U23 World Championships in Val di Fiemme . At the beginning of February 2014 he again achieved ninth place in the 15 km freestyle at the Scandinavian Cup in Meråker . In March 2014 he started the 50 km mass start race in classic technique in Oslo for the first time in the World Cup and finished 49th there. In February 2015, he finished seventh over 15 km in the classic technique and eighth in the 30 km at the Scandinavian Cup in Madone -Freistyle mass start race two more top 10 placements. Stock won his first World Cup points during his second World Cup appearance in March 2015 in Oslo, finishing 25th in the 50 km freestyle mass start race. In the 2015/16 season he finished second in the Scandinavian Cup at the Mini Tour in Otepää and at the end of the season he was sixth in the overall Scandinavian Cup standings. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he won his first Scandinavian Cup victory in Lillehammer over 10 km freestyle. In the further course of the season he started four times in the World Cup. He achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup in Pyeongchang with second place in the skiathlon. In March 2017 he was fourth in the Scandinavian Cup on the mini tour in Madona . He won the stage over 10 km classic. At the end of the season he reached second place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup and 23rd place in the Distance World Cup. In the following season he reached eight top ten placements, including third place over 15 km freestyle in Piteå and first place over 15 km freestyle in Vuokatti, third place in the Scandinavian Cup overall standings.
In the 2018/19 season, Stock made it into the top ten five times in the Scandinavian Cup. He achieved second place over 15 km freestyle in Östersund and first place over 10 km classic in Madona and thus achieved second place in the overall standings.
