Daniele Pietropolli (born July 11, 1980 in Bussolengo ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Daniele Pietropolli rode as a stagiaire for the Fassa Bortolo cycling team in 2001 . In 2002 he won the Italian one-day race Trofeo Zssdi . The following year he received his first regular contract with Tenax . During his career he won various stage races , twice the Giro della Provincia di Reggio Calabria and once each the Giro della Provincia di Grosseto and the Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda . In addition, Pietropolli won the 2011 Trofeo Laigueglia in a sprint of a ten-man breakaway group.

After the end of the 2014 season, he ended his career.

In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua in 2014, he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari during his career .
