Daniil Lwowitsch Linchevsky

Daniil Lwowitsch Lintschewski ( Russian Даниил Львович Линчевский ; at the World Chess Federation FIDE Daniil Lintchevski ; born May 17, 1990 in Gatchina ) is a Russian chess player .

Career

Linchevsky grew up in Gatchina. His father taught him the game of chess at the age of five. He was cared for first by a friend of his father's and then by GM Valery Popov . Lintschewski was able to show noteworthy results even in adolescence. He was fifth, tied with bronze medalist Vüqar Rəsulov , at the European U16 championship in 2006 in Herceg Novi . Also in 2006, he took third place behind Ivan Popow and Jan Nepomnjaschtschi at the international youth tournament in Kirishi . The following year he became the Russian U18 champion.

In 2008, 2012 and 2017 he won the championships of the Northwestern Federal District . In March 2009 he was named Grand Master and shortly afterwards Master of Sports of Russia. He achieved the standards for his GM title in 2008 at the European championship in Plovdiv and at the Russian championship in Novokuznetsk . Lintschewski played club chess for Grifon ( Saint Petersburg ) in Russia and for the Chess Beer Sheva club in Israel .

In 2007 he won the FINEC tournament with IM standards in Saint Petersburg. Further successes on an international level were the 2nd to 4th 1st place in the FINEC 2009 A tournament, 1st place in the Latvian Open Championship 2009 ( Pļaviņas ), 2nd - 12th place Place in Oberwart 2010, 4th - 12th Place at the Minsk- Open 2010 and 3rd place at the Chigorin Memorial Tournament 2011 (Saint Petersburg).

In June 2015 Lintschewski first to arrive was Adam Tuchajew and Boris Savchenko at Alekhine -Gedenkturnier (Master Open) in Voronezh .
