Danijel Gatarić (born May 18, 1986 in Banja Luka , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with the fifth division TV Jahn Hiesfeld since 2017 .
Career
Danijel Gatarić was on the side of his twin brother Dalibor Gatarić on the last two game days of the 2004/05 season at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the 2nd Bundesliga . As a result, they played together in the 2nd team of 1. FC Cologne (2006-2008), at FSV Oggersheim (2008/09) and Wormatia Worms (2009). In the winter break of the 2009/10 season they finally parted ways after only Dalibor received an offer after a trial training session with Sportfreunde Lotte . A short time later, Danijel also left Wormatia and moved to the regional division KSV Hessen Kassel . In the summer of 2010 Danijel Gatarić joined the U-23 reserve of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, who played in the Lower Rhine League. In the 2011/12 season he was back on the professional squad of the third division, for which he played 24 games. With RWO he was relegated from the 3rd division at the end of the season.
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the regional league team Sportfreunde Lotte and met his brother Dalibor again. With the Sportfreunde they became champions of the Regionalliga West , but in the promotion games to the 3rd league the team failed at RB Leipzig . In the summer of 2014 he went to Wuppertaler SV in the Oberliga Niederrhein and rose to the Regionalliga West in the 2015/16 season . For the 2016/17 season , he and his brother moved to Hammer SpVg in the Oberliga Westfalen . A year later he moved with his brother to the Oberliga Niederrhein for TV Jahn Hiesfeld .
