The Dar is a mountain stream in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . It partially forms the border between the Vaudois Alps and the Vaudois Pre-Alps . It is located on the west side of the Col du Pillon and takes up significant parts of the condensation of the Diablerets mountain range . It flows into the Grande Eau .

The Dar rises on the Dar glacier and initially flows about 2.5 km northwards before turning west after the Cascade du Dar . After about 5.7 km it joins the Grande Eau from the right at Les Diablerets VD .
