Darwin Shaw (* in the 20th century in Brampton , Cumbria as Daud Shaw ) is a British actor of Arab descent.

life and career

Darwin Shaw was born the eldest of two sons in the British city of Brampton. The family later moved to Leeds and Shaw studied medicine at King's College London after graduating from high school .

However, Shaw later devoted himself to acting and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . Upon graduation, Shaw received his first role in a stage production of Julius Caesar at the Barbican Theater by Deborah Warner . Acting greats like Ralph Fiennes , Fiona Shaw and Simon Russell Beale stood next to him on stage. As a result, Shaw landed a role in 2006 James Bond 007: Casino Royale , the first film with Daniel Craig as the title character. This was followed by other film roles in Messiah - The Seven Signs , I Can't Think Straight , Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and John Carter - Between Two Worlds .

In 2013, Shaw played the role of Peter in the miniseries The Bible and appeared in two plays by Naomi Wallace . In the recent past, Shaw has mainly appeared as a guest actor in television series, including Atlantis , Marco Polo , Homeland , Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and House of Cards .

Shaw has also been a model for British photographer David Bailey .
