Dary Holm
Dary Holm (born April 16, 1897 in Hamburg as Anna Maria Dorothea Meyer , † August 29, 1960 in Munich ) was a German actress .
Life
Holm grew up in Upper Bavaria and decided to work as an actor after the First World War . Through her colleague Bernd Aldor , she was recommended to the director Otto Rippert in 1921 , who cast her in the film The Booty of the Erinyes . In the following years Dary Holm advanced from supporting to leading roles, in Munich she appeared several times in films by Franz Seitz . From 1924 she was regularly cast as a film partner by Harry Piel.
After two sound films, she withdrew into private life. Dary Holm had been married to her colleague Harry Piel since 1927 .
