Harry Paulsen is quite a jack of all trades who doesn't avoid any adventure. One day he comes across a gang of banknote counterfeiters. The smart detective Gladys Norton is also on the trail of these flower manufacturers. When she comes across Paulsen during her investigation, she initially also thinks he is one of the crooks and wants to arrest him. After the mistake has been cleared up, the two sniffers join forces. Harry tracks down the hiding place of the printing press and arrests the gang of forgers on site.
So that even those crooks who organize the transport of the flowers don't get away, Harry arranges an unwanted meeting of the counterfeit money smugglers with the border police, who had only been waiting for the illegal border traffic of the transport gang. Finally, Harry succeeds in unmasking the head of the organization: It is the cashier of the Swiss central bank. To please his pretty young colleague Gladys, on whom Harry had meanwhile cast an eye, he leaves her to arrest him.

Willi A. Herrmann designed the film structures . Harry Piel and leading actress Dary Holm were married to each other. Dietrich husband Rudolf Sieber was assistant director.
