Attention Harry! Open eyes! is a German silent action film from 1926 by and with Harry Piel .

The young student Harry, an adventurer and daredevil, vigorously manages to get into the room of the editor-in-chief of the Continental Courier, the local newspaper. He absolutely wants to write a story about the world of criminals, the so-called "Apaches", and for this reason he associates with these gangs for six weeks. As a “local reporter”, he would then like to publish an exciting sequel story in this same continental courier. Eventually you consent, and Harry actually manages to gain access.

He gets some of the crooks out; also that a break-in into the villa of the publisher of the Continental Courier, Graham Horst, is planned. Harry, an honest skin with lion courage, knows how to prevent this of course. The second, much more dramatic case concerns the publisher's daughter, Ethel Horst. She is being kidnapped by traffickers and is to be sold abroad. Harry can free her from the clutches of the criminals and gets her as his wife as thanks.

Attention Harry! Open eyes! , often with the subtitle Six Weeks Among the Apaches , was made in July and August 1926 in the Staaken film studios, passed the film censorship on September 3, 1926 and was banned from youth. The film had eight acts and was 3,256 meters long. The world premiere took place on September 14, 1926 in the Marble House . In Austria, the strip started on March 4, 1927 under the title Six Weeks under Apaches .

Willi A. Herrmann designed the film structures . Edmund Heuberger was the production manager.

Paimann's film lists summed up: “This Harry Piel film is far more logical in its subject than the last of this series, while the execution remains true to all the traditions of the community of its leading actor. It's worked quite excitingly ... "
