Professor Queri caught the attention of detective Joe Deebs by wasting it in a variety theater. He quickly recognizes the wanted criminal Keleni behind the Queri's mask. Its latest villain is said to harm the Duke of Palma, because Keleni intends to fool him into finding a silver vein in his abandoned mine.

Now Deebs is wide awake and doesn't let Keleni / Queri out of his sight. He prevents his attempt at fraud and even manages to bring it back to the Duke, who was robbed of his crown 15 years ago. In the showdown with Keleni, there is an explosion in which the villain is killed.
