Joe Deebs was a crime series by producer Joe May from 1915 to 1920. Max Landa , Ferdinand von Alten and Harry Liedtke played Joe Deebs . Heinrich Schroth , Carl Auen and Curt Goetz . Joe May directed some films himself, but directors Victor Janson , Karl Gerhardt , Harry Piel , Leopold Bauer , Uwe Jens Krafft , Leo Lasko , Willi Zeyn , Erich Schönfelder and Martin Hartwig were also involved.
