A Sheet of Paper is a 1916 crime film from the Joe Deebs film series .

action

Joe Deebs has to dress up several times and travel to America to help a man after his father has disappeared. The document (= a piece of paper) that he finds helps the rightful owner, the father, to get back his illegally stolen property. In doing so, he reconciles father and son.

The film is four acts long . It was produced by May-Film GmbH Berlin (No. 8). A sheet of paper was censored in April 1916. The Berlin police placed a youth ban on the film (no. 39201), the Munich police did not allow any announcement as a detective film (no. 21435, 21436, 21437, 21438).

The first performance took place on April 12, 1916 or May 12, 1916 in the Tauentzienpalast in Berlin.
