The thing with the two heads is an American science fiction - comedy from 1972. In Germany, he first appeared on September 28, 1987 video.


The racist , bigoted and wealthy surgeon Kirshner is dying. He is terminally ill with cancer . So that his knowledge is not lost after his death, he has his head transplanted onto the body of the innocent prisoner Jack Moss . After the operation he is shocked to find that Moss is black , while Kirshner himself is fair-skinned. So he stumbles from one problem to another with two heads. At the end of the film, the two are separated. Moss manages to escape with his girlfriend. Kirshner's head is cut off and connected to tubes. The head asks the terrified doctors to get him a body.

  • The main actor, Rosevelt Grier, was a former professional football player and later Robert Kennedy's bodyguard . He was present at his murder and overpowered the assassin Sirhan Sirhan after he had shot Kennedy.
