Richard "Rick" Baker (born December 8, 1950 in Binghamton , New York ) is an award-winning American makeup artist and actor .

Life

Baker is considered one of the most sought-after makeup artists in Hollywood and can also be seen as an actor on the screen. His make-up masterpieces include the make-up effects of z. B. American Werewolf (1981) and Planet of the Apes (2001). He has won the Oscar for the best make-up several times . Baker also drew the cover for the anthology comic "Bela Lugosi's Tales from the Grave".

Baker had a cameo in 1985 in the film Upside Down in the Night by John Landis .
