The barbed animal: the parlor game - an incredible story, isn't it? is a black and white German satirical short feature film in the series Das Stacheltier from the DEFA studio for feature films by Frank Beyer from 1957 .

action

Three gangsters from ZEG (Zentrale Einbruchs-Gesellschaft) mbH try to crack a safe. They can prevent the shackled night watchman from triggering the alarm, which is then triggered by opening the safe door, so that they have to flee through a window without prey, which anger their boss very much. The gangster Tommy points out an old method, but gangster Ricky recommends using a new method based on the American "occupation style". To do this, they dress up as American soldiers and take part in a charity bazaar for the moral rearmament of the privy councilor of Lambert. Since the event is too boring for the gentlemen present, they immediately agree to the proposal for a parlor game, in which all those present have to put their valuables on a table, around which they march. Then the lights go out with the remark that this would be the climax of the game. After switching on again - to the horror of the guests - the three "occupiers" disappeared with all their jewelry and money.
