David Eric “Dave” Bronze (born April 2, 1952 in Billericay , Essex ) is an English bass player .

Bronze recorded a large number of successful albums with internationally successful artists in the music industry. For example, the Brit appears on the albums From the Cradle (1994) and Pilgrim (1998) by English superstar Eric Clapton . Bronze also did a three-year world tour with him, the From the Cradle World Tour from 1993 to 1996. He also appeared with Clapton at the Concert for George as well as during the 50th Anniversary World Tour and the 2014 Eric Clapton World Tour . Bronze also worked with artists such as Robin Trower , Dr. Feelgood , The Hamsters , Nik Kershaw , Belinda Carlisle , Barbara Dickson , Art of Noise , Bryn Haworth and Ray Davies .
