David A. Whittaker (born November 11, 1952 in Long Beach , California ) is an Oscar nominee, American sound engineer .
Life
Whittaker has worked as a sound engineer on numerous large and successful films such as Star Trek V: At the Edge of the Universe , Erin Brockovich , The Fifth Element and Shrek the Third . In 1997 he was for Daylight for the Oscar nominated.
