David Andersson (guitarist)
Carl David Natanael Andersson (born February 25, 1975 ) is a Swedish guitarist .
Career
Inspired by guitarists like Ritchie Blackmore or Randy Rhoads, Andersson learned to play the guitar from the age of ten. Other models were Tommy Bolin , Steve Hackett , Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew , but also jazz - fusion guitar-player like Scott Hernderson . From 2006 onwards, David Andersson was the live guitarist for the band Soilwork . After Peter Wiechers left in 2012, Andersson became a permanent member of the band. In the meantime, Andersson was also a member of the power metal band Mean Streak , with whom he released two studio albums. In 2012 Andersson and Soilwork singer Björn “Speed” Strid founded the classic rock band The Night Flight Orchestra , with whom he has released five studio albums so far. The Night Flight Orchestra has been nominated twice for the Swedish Grammis Music Prize.
David Andersson is a doctor full-time and works as a gastroenterologist .
