David Harrer (born April 24, 1990 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian soccer player who currently plays for SC Bruck / Mur .

Career

society

Harrer began his active career as a football player in 1998 in his hometown of Breitenau at the foot of the Hochlantsch . Until 2004 he went through several youth league classes in the junior division of SV Breitenau , before moving to the Austrian capital Vienna to FK Austria Wien in mid-2004 . At the traditional club from the 10th district of Favoriten , he was mostly only used in the youth teams until 2008. In addition, Harrer attended the Frank Stronach Academy in Hollabrunn from 2004 to 2008 and, after having passed the Matura, was appointed to the squad of amateurs who play in the second-rate first division.

Up to this point, he was in the respective age groups, youth leagues for use, where he completed his last youth games in the 2007/08 season, where he was on the field in 22 games and scored three goals.

Harrer made his professional debut on August 29, 2008 in a 2-1 home win over FC Gratkorn when he came on for Paul Bichelhuber in the 89th minute .

To this day it was not enough to score a goal for the club. Only one own goal on November 15, 2008, which he scored in the 2-1 home defeat against eventual champions SC Magna Wiener Neustadt , remains the meager result. In the same season, Harrer came to two appearances in the ÖFB Cup . On the one hand, he played the entire game in the round of 16 in a 2-1 win over FC Red Bull Salzburg , and on the other hand, he was on the pitch for a full 90 minutes in the semi -final game . In the end they had to admit defeat to FC Admira Wacker Mödling with a 1: 3 defeat .

To date, Harrer has only played for the Bundesliga team of FK Austria Wien, which he played in a friendly against ASV Spratzern from the St. Pölten district of Spratzern when he came into play for Markus Suttner in the 60th minute .

From the 2010/11 season, Harrer was awarded several times and moved to FC Vaduz in the 2012/13 season . In winter 2014 he moved to Kapfenberger SV on a free transfer . For the 2015/16 season he moved to SC Wiener Neustadt . After the forced relegation of Wiener Neustadt, he moved to the fourth-class SC Bruck / Mur for the 2019/20 season .

National team

Harrer played four competitive games for the Austrian U-19 national team from 2008 to 2009 and is meanwhile in the squad of the U-20 team in his home country, for which he has played two games to date (as of October 17, 2009). On August 12, 2009, he was used for Christoph Kröpfl in the 5-1 defeat in the friendly against the Swiss U-20 national team from the 75th minute .
