David Heissig

David Heissig (* 1989 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor.

Life

Born in 1989, David Heissig came into contact with theater and film at an early age. He has been on stage since he was ten and in 2002, when he was 13, he made his cinema debut in Harald SICHERITZ's satire Poppitz with Roland Düringer , Marie Bäumer and Alfred Dorfer . Heissig played his first leading role in the ORF comedy series Die Lottosieger , which started in 2009. Initially a member of the Vienna Children's Theater for many years , he now teaches acting and speaking training to the next generation. David Heissig himself completed numerous master classes in acting and movement with Di Travis, Shona Morris and Natalie Turner-Jones, among others. (Drama Center London, RADA)

In 2012 he participated in the 7th season of Dancing Stars , where he made it to the 4th round with dance partner Kathrin Menzinger .

In addition to acting, Heissig studied theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna . He also works as a voice actor, moderator and trainer in the German-speaking world.
