David Readman 2008

David Readman (born July 6, 1970 in Burnley , England ) is a British musician and singer . He became known for singing on Pink Cream 69 .

biography

At 15 Readman left school and sang in several bands, which were unsuccessful. In 1989 he enrolled at a music college in Colne to become a professional singer. In 1991 he graduated from college and applied for the singing post with guitarists Adrian Smith , Thomas McRocklin and Misha Calvin . For the latter he moved to London , the demos were later released without Readman's consent.

He replaced 69 singer Andi Deris at Pink Cream in 1994 , who had switched to Helloween . In addition to his work with this band, he is involved in numerous projects.

From 2000 to 2004 he also sang with the French progressive metal band Adagio . In 2002 he sang in the rock opera Missa Mercuria .

His first self-titled solo album was released on August 31, 2007 on the Italian label Frontier Records.

On December 5th, 2008 the debut album of Voodoo Circle , a project with Matt Sinner , Mel Gaynor , Jimmy Kresic ( Relax ) and Alex Beyrodt (ex- Primal Fear , Silent Force , ex-Sinner) was released.

Readman has also been a producer since 2008. He produced the album "Brutality of Life" for the group Sons of Sounds . He has also been the front man of the Whitesnake tribute band Quitesnake since 2008 and the singer of the cover band Moby Dick since 2010 .

Readman has also been singing for Demon's Eye since September 2012 . He shares the singing post there with Doogie White , the former singer of Ritchie Blackmore's former band Rainbow.

Since the spring of 2015, Readman has been singing with the band Almanac , which Victor Smolski founded after he left the band Rage . Readman sings here with Andy B. Franck ( Brainstorm ) and Jeannette Marchewka.

In 2017 he founded the group "Pendulum of Fortune" with Bodo Schopf (Ex-Michael-Schenker-Group), which released its debut album in 2017. In 2018 guitarist Matthias Erhardt from the AC / DC cover band "The Jack" joined the band, with whom the second album will be released in March 2019. [outdated]
