Davide Carli

Davide Carli (born March 19, 1983 in San Donà di Piave , Province of Venice , Italy ) is a former Italian volleyball coach and player.

Career

Carli started playing volleyball at the age of ten. During his playing days he was active on the position of the player, but did not play in the top Italian division. Carli's coaching career began in Italy in 2009 at Pordenone . In 2011 he was active at Junior Volley Casale Monferrato.

For the 2011/12 season, Alberto Salomoni Carli helped him to his first international engagement as an assistant coach at SC Potsdam . After one season, Carli moved to the German champions and cup winners Schweriner SC and acted there in his first season as assistant coach under Teun Buijs . In the 2012/13 season , the Schwerin women were able to win both national competitions again and reached the play-offs in the Champions League . In the 2013/14 season , Carli remained assistant coach in Schwerin under the new head coach Felix Koslowski . He was also a junior trainer at Schweriner SC.

In 2016, Carli returned to SC Potsdam as head coach, where he worked until December 2018. Carli's career as a coach ended with his commitment in Potsdam. He works as a bus driver in Schwerin (as of 2019).
