The Davisville Glacier is a 50 km long glacier in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It flows from the northern slopes of the Wisconsin Range in the Horlick Mountains between the Lentz Buttress and the Moran Buttress in a northwesterly direction to the lower section of the Horlick Ice Current .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after the location Davisville , Rhode Island , home of the construction battalion center of the United States Navy, which is responsible for the Was responsible for transportation issues during Deep Freeze operations .
